The author Song Bac Toh is an experienced product manager who has built, shipped and marketed software products and technology successfully in the enterprise and consumer e-Commerce space over 15 years. Currently I am working on a SaaS product in the health IT space.
You may ask why the name SV Fruit Stand. I live and work in the Silicon Valley, which used to be full of orchards and fruit stands. This name is a salute to the old days and to the idea that most of us are vending our ideas using this new type of fruit stand called the World Wide Web.
There are many people speaking out on the topic of health IT, most with extensive experience in the medical field. With the renewed drive to EHR adoption, numerous IT specialists are jumping in as well. With my experience in technology strategy and implementation, I try to reflect on these ideas and trends and arm my readers with the information to evaluate, purchase or even solve the IT problem for their organizations.
